Diné College Places 3rd at Annual National Student Academic Competition

March 25, 2010

TSAILE – Diné College competed against tribal colleges in the Knowledge Bowl at the 29th annual conference of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) conference in Chandler, Arizona March 20 through March 23 and came home with third place among 27 schools who entered the academic competition. SHIPROCK — Every year the Adult Basic Education (ABE) Division of the New Mexico Higher Education Department recognizes overall program excellence and innovation with the “Outstanding ABE Program of the Year” award. 2010 Presidential Candidates will share their platforms and hopes for Navajo Nation with the Navajo People. This forum will focus broadly around the role the "Fundamental Laws" play in the development of the Navajo Nation Government. The forum will benefit the students of Diné College and advance their learning of the political and governmental system as well as broaden their understanding of the issues of sovereignty facing The Navajo Nation.

You will stay in the dorms and each day participate in activities that focus on college success and careers in the field of science.
