Application Deadline for Class of 2016: July 18, 2014
Transfer Students - Transfer applicants are those who have completed an AA or AS at an accredited community/junior college whose graduation requirements meet or exceed Diné College’s AA in Business Administration requirements. These students will be admitted as a junior (year 3 of the 4-years) into the BA program.
Each application is reviewed individually. Strong candidates for transfer admission have earned a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA in 30 or more semester credits completed at an accredited institution.
Applicants with a cumulative GPA below 2.5 and/or fewer than 30 completed credits are encouraged to apply since many factors are considered in the admission decision, including credits completed, grade point average and trends in grades, prerequisite transfer course work, community service and leadership, and the ability to contribute to a diverse campus community.
High School Graduates for Freshman Admission - Priority consideration is given to freshman applicants who have earned a minimum 3.00 GPA in a college track curriculum. These students will be admitted as a freshman, starting in year 1 of the 4 year program.
The college track curriculum must include Four units of math including; algebra 1, geometry, and algebra 2 or a comparable college-preparatory sequence. Admissions preference is given to students whose fourth year of math is above the level of algebra 2 (e.g., trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, AP statistics).
Applicants who have a GPA below 3.00 are encouraged to apply since a variety of factors are considered in the holistic review process.
Admission is subject to satisfactory completion of current courses and submission of a final, complete, official transcript.
