General Information

The employees of our Bookstore/Press strive to provide quality customer service for the students, staff, faculty, administrators, and the general public, with our main emphasis on serving the academic community. The Tsaile bookstore is located in the Student Union building, which is across from the gym. The Shiprock bookstore is located in the North campus, Room 169.

Refunds and Buy-Backs

At the end of each semester (not including Summer Session), the Bookstore/Press also buys back books. Normally these buybacks are scheduled at the last few days during final exam week. The locations of buybacks are usually posted within the college community.

You can also use our online buyback service.

Many of the new students and returning students will have questions about our refund policy on textbooks. The following refund policies will be effective beginning Summer 2003 Sessions. Note the difference between the regular semesters and the Summer Sessions.

Spring and Fall Semesters
1-5 days 100% refund
6-14 days 80% refund
15-21 days 60% refund
After 21 days NO REFUND

Summer Sessions
1-3 days 100% refund
4-7 days 75% refund
After 7 days NO REFUND
