In 1968, Diné College was established by an Act of Congress as the first tribally-controlled community college in the United States and is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. While Diné College serves a predominantly Navajo population, the College maintains an open-door policy with both traditional and non-traditional students attending, and offers all students a high-quality educational experience.
Diné College’s faculty and staff work diligently to educate and inspire students during the course of their academic journeys.
