IIRD Director Benita LitsonBenita Litson - Director
Benita works with the Land Grant Office at Diné College. In 2005, she earned her masters’ degree in Environmental Resource from Arizona State University. She enjoys working in her hometown discovering ways to revitalize agricultural production through natural resource management. Benita is also a member of the First American Land Grant Consortium and the Navajo Extension Partnership.

Felix Nez - Extension Agent I
Felix Nez went to Salish Kootenai College and the University of Montana to receive a B.A. in Environmental Studies. He is born for the Mexican Clan people from Tsaile and raised by the Red Bottom people. His provision is to utilize the Land Grant Office in helping local communities in sustainable resources management throughout Navajoland.

Monique Yazzie - Grants Coordinator
Monique is pursuing her A.A. in Business Administration. She has been working in the Land Grant Office for about 2 years managing the budget in all capacities.

Patrick Blackwater- Project/Intern Coordinator
Patirck has his Associate of Arts in Business Administration.

Derrick C. Harvey - Graphic Designer
Derrick has been a graphic designer for over 6 years. He enjoys reading on topics as graphic design principles and elements, such as color, type, logo design, and page layouts.His influences include the well-defined Native American Graphic Designers, Web Developers, Photographers, Painters, all creatives. He is an enrolled member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). He has an Associate of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences.
