Purpose: Assist Community leaders, families, and Tribal policy makers on making effective and culturally-relevant decisions.

Learn:

Basic Policy Tools: Cost Benefit Analysis, Problem definition, Problem-solving, survey methods, budget analysis, and strategic planning and prioritizing
     • Cultural Grounding: Understand how the policy tools can be used in a culturally relevant manner while maintaining a shared governance framework with non-Navajo governments.
     • Policy Analysis using Navajo Culture: Learn how to use Navajo culture to make better decisions for the community. Learn how to use k'é in policy-making.
