What is Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign?
The Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign is a year of giving to support Navajo Higher Education at Diné College. This year it takes place on May 1, 2019 – 12:00 pm to May 1, 2020 – 11:59 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST).
Who can be a part of the Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign?
Anyone and everyone can be a part of the excitement on and before the Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign concludes on May 1, 2020. It does not matter if you are a Diné College graduate.
Why should I give through Diné College?
When you give through Diné College you are supporting more than just education, you are providing the resources necessary for our faculty, students, and researchers to participate in solving the greatest issues facing our world today.
Supporters of Diné College believe in Tribal Colleges & Universities that immerses itself in the Navajo communities that surrounds it. When you make a gift to Diné College, you are joining with over 6,000 like-minded Warriors in advancing Sa’ah Naghai’ Bi’keh Hozhoon.
How can I be a part of Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign?
First, join our discussion on and before the conclusion of the Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign by following the DC Alumni Relations Office on Facebook and Twitter. Help share the Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign story using the hashtag #WarriorGiving and encourage your friends to be a part of Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign.
Lastly, make an online gift on May 1, 2020 to the Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign.
When should I give on Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign?
The decision is yours. The Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign giving site will be continuously receiving donations online till May 1, 2019, 12:00 pm.
How will my gift be used?
You gift will be solely applied to the Kinyaa’aanii Library Renovation – furniture, carpeting, and enclosures – please view the plans for your gift on the homepage. Diné College strives to ensure all donations are solely for the purposes for which they were given.
What gifts count towards the totals for each unit?
All gifts to Diné College on Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign will be included.
It looks like I can give now. Will my gift still be counted?
We know life gets busy and you may not be able to give on May 1, 2020. That’s why we will be accepting gifts early for your convenience. Any gift received on the Kinyaa’aanii Library Campaign site from May 1, 2019 through May 1, 2020 will be counted.
As an employee or affiliate to Diné College, can I donate through payroll deduction?
Definitely! Diné College employees can set up either a one-time gift or reoccurring payroll deductions. Please contact Alumni Relations Office for further instructions.
Are gifts tax deductible?
Diné College is a non-profit corporation operating exclusively for educational and charitable purposes under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Please Note: Acknowledgement of tax-deductible eligibility will only be provided as gifts are processed and finalized. Should you have any questions, regarding the eligibility, please contact the Office of Office of Alumni Relations at 928-724-6699 prior to giving your gift.
