Future Students Application Process

Step 1 requires student to submit the online application. Additional admission requirement is in place for Bachelor degree seeking students.

Step 2 requires student to submit a copy of their Social Security Card. Student may scan or take a digital picture of their Social Security Card and email it to the Diné College Admissions Office at: admissions@dinecollege.edu.

Step 3 requires student to submit an official High School transcript with graduation date or high school equivalency credential with test scores. There are three alternative routes in which a student can submit their official High School Transcript to the Diné College Admissions Office:

1. Student needs to contact the high school they graduated from to obtain official transcript, have the School Administrator email the transcript to Diné College Admissions Office at admissions@dinecollege.edu with a statement assuring that the official High School transcript is on its way via postal mail.
2. A student can complete the Diné College High School Transcript Request Form and return it to the Diné College Admissions Office at admissions@dinecollege.edu, which they will postal mail to High School.
3. A student can complete the Diné College High School Transcript Request Form and postal mail it to the High School they graduated from.

Step 4 applies if student has previously attended other college(s)/university(s). This would require student to submit an Official College/University Transcript from other accredited colleges/universities previously attended:

1. We accept electronic official College/University transcripts, they can be emailed to Diné College Admissions Office at admissions@dinecollege.edu
2. Official College/University transcripts can be postal mail to the Diné College Admissions Office.

Step 5 requires student to submit official Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) or enrollment card. There are four alternative routes in which a student can submit their Official CIB to the Diné College Admissions Office:

1. A student can complete the Diné College CIB Request Form and scan/email it to the Diné College Admissions Office at admissions@dinecollege.edu. The Admissions Office will send this form to the Navajo Nation Window Rock Office of Vital Record. Who in return will send the student’s Official CIB to the Diné College Admissions Office.
2. If a student has an extra official CIB document, they can send that official document through postal mail to the Diné College Admissions Office.
3. A student can complete the Diné College CIB Request Form and fax it to the Navajo Nation Window Rock Office of Vital Records at (fax#) 928-871-6397.
4. A student can complete the Diné College CIB Request Form and postal mail to the Navajo Nation Window Rock Office of Vital Records.
