What is the Renew the Fireplace of Knowledge Kinyaa’áanii Library Campaign

The Renew the Fireplace of Knowledge Kinyaa’áanii Library Campaign is a year long fundraiser with a goal to raise $1.5 million dollars for library renovations.

Who can give to the Library Campaign?

All are welcomed to give, but we are relying on our Diné College Alumni to take the lead in giving to this important cause.

Why should I give to Diné College?

Your gift to Diné College nurtures research and other academic endeavors by faculty and students. The library has been a hub of knowledge for the community since 1974, so with new renovations to the structure, the library will stand strong into the future!

How can I be a part of the Kinyaa’áanii Library Campaign?

When you give to Diné College, you are connecting with over 6,000 like-minded Warriors in advancing Sa’ah Naghai’ Bi’keh Hozhoon. You can give by clicking the ‘DONATE’ button on the campaign page and making a contribution for any amount.

When should I give on the Kinyaa’áanii Library Campaign?

You can give all year around. The campaign will run until December 31, 2020!

How will my gift be used?

Your gift will be applied to the Kinyaa’áanii Library renovation, which includes reinforcing the structure, replacing broken doors and windows, updating the flooring, purchasing new furniture, and creating new, enclosed study spaces.

As an employee of Diné College, can I donate through payroll deduction?

Yes.  Diné College employees can set up a one-time gift or reoccurring payroll deductions that will be applied to the Renew the Fireplace of Knowledge Kinyaa’áanii Library Campaign.  Please contact the Diné College Development Office for further instructions.

Are gifts tax deductible?

Diné College is a non-profit corporation operating exclusively for educational and charitable purposes under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, gifts are tax deductible.

Note: Acknowledgement of tax-deductible eligibility will be provided as gifts are processed and finalized.
