Diné College’s Men’s Cross Country Team Takes USCAA Cross Country National Championship for 9th Time

CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE — The Diné College Men’s Cross Country Team has successfully defended their 2009 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Cross Country National Championship title for the ninth (9th) time! Diné College’s Shiprock Adult Basic Education Program Named 2009 Program of the Year

SHIPROCK — Every year the Adult Basic Education (ABE) Division of the New Mexico Higher Education Department recognizes overall program excellence and innovation with the “Outstanding ABE Program of the Year” award. Navajo Nation and State of Arizona Renew $17.5 Million Compact for Next 10 Years for Diné College

WINDOW ROCK – Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and Navajo Nation President Dr. Joe Shirley, Jr., with Diné College President Ferlin Clark and former Senator Jack C. Jackson, Sr. as witnesses, signed a compact which renews a $17.75 million agreement for another ten-year period which provide $1.75 million per year for construction of facilities and maintenance at the College’s main campus at Tsaile and its five Arizona centers.Read more.
