American Indian College Fund awarded Diné College the 23-27 Cultivating Native Student Success (CNSS) Grant

TSAILE, AZ –  Diné College is proud to announce its recent award of the 2023-2027 Cultivating Native Student Success (CNSS) Grant from the American Indian College Fund (AICF). This significant achievement underscores the ongoing commitment to enhancing the educational journey and outcomes for Native students.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to partner with AICF to grow our strategies to enhance student success and academic practices and implement a space of comfort and meaning for our entire Diné College community,” stated Winifred Jumbo, Project Team Lead, PI.

In celebration of this milestone, Diné College invited the community to a special kick-off meeting with Ms. Delphina Thomas, AICF Program Officer, and the college’s Project Team Lead.

“I’m looking forward to working with Diné College over the next few years on the Cultivating Native Student Success Initiative,” stated Delphina Thomas, American Indian College Fund. “The team has a strong desire to make systemic changes that will center their students’ journeys and promote collaboration across all campuses. I can’t wait to see the positive impacts this will create for the college, faculty, administration, and students.”

This event provided an invaluable opportunity for attendees to gain insights into the CNSS Grant’s objectives, benefits, and strategic plan for its implementation.
