Internship
Program
An internship program provides students or recent grads with hands-on work experience in a specific field, helping them build skills, network, and explore careers. Internships can be paid or unpaid and typically last a few weeks to months.

About DPI Internship Program
Both undergraduate and graduate internships are available through Diné Policy Institute (DPI). Interns will conduct independent research under the mentorship of DPI researchers.
Research is focused on issues pertinent to the Diné and the Navajo Nation. Interns at Diné Policy Institute will study and engage in Navajo philosophical concepts, using this knowledge as a basis to analysis and research contemporary Navajo issues, including Public Health, Sustainable Community and Economic Development, Education, Social Service, Cultural Rights, and Government.
Most internships last for one semester either in the spring, fall, or summer though some projects may take longer. Both paid and for-credit internships are available.
- Paid Internships are available during the summer & maybe available during the school year.
- DPI is a Diné College Work-Study Site.
