Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony

Diné College will celebrate its Fall 2025 graduates on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Tsaile Campus, northeast of the gymnasium. The ceremony will feature keynote speaker Nikki Tulley, a research scientist with the BAERI/NASA Ames Research Center.
 
Key Details for Graduates:
  • Rehearsal: December 11, 2025, 1:00–4:00 p.m., Tsaile Campus Library
  • Caps & Gowns: Pick up at the Student Success Center or arrange delivery by contacting the Registrar’s Office at registrar@dinecollege.edu or (928) 724-6630. Complete the Graduate Exit Survey to receive your cap and gown.
  • Photos: Complimentary graduation photos available by appointment or during the ceremony. Submit a photo release form and request photos at www.dinecollege.edu or contact marketing@dinecollege.edu.
 
Additional Information:
  • Dorm rooms are available for rent through Residence Life. Submit an Overnight Stay Form to reslife@dinecollege.edu and contact the Cashier’s Office at (928) 724-6684 for payment.
  • Vendor applications are open until 10:00 a.m. on December 10, 2025. Submit forms to dhr@dinecollege.edu.

Commencement FAQs

Who is the Commencement Speaker?

Nikki Tulley is from the communities of Blue Gap, Arizona and Toh-la-kai, New Mexico. She attended K-12 in the Window Rock Unified School District and continued her university studies at the University of New Mexico and the University of Arizona. Currently she is a research scientist with the BAERI/NASA Ames Research Center working in the Earth Science Division with Earth Action. She works as NASA's Western Water Action Office Impact and Transition Lead and as NASA's EarthRISE Local Engagement Team Lead. Being born and raised on the Navau Nation has influenced her career where she aims to focus on Earth science integrating Indigenous science with Western Earth-observation science. Tulley uses satellite imagery alongside community-based research to connect global environmental change with lived experience on the land that works to build community relations to build technical support.

Where do I get my cap and gown?

If you have not already done so, please download and complete the Cap and Gown Order Form. 
Submit your completed form to bookstore@dinecollege.edu. 
Please note: Forms submitted after the deadline are not guaranteed to receive the requested size. 
 
Distribution: Cap and gowns will be available for pickup beginning December 4, 2025, at the Registrar’s Office (Student Success Center, Tsaile Campus). 
 
Important: The required graduation survey must be completed before your cap and gown, or other graduation regalia can be released. Here is the link: Fall 2025 Graduation Exit Survey 

Can my cap and gown be sent to a Diné College Site/Center?

Yes.

Cap and gowns can be delivered to any of Diné College’s six sites/centers/campuses.
To make delivery arrangements, email registrar@dinecollege.edu by Thursday, December 4, 2025, 5pm.

When will I receive my diploma?

Diplomas will be sent to graduates after all final grades are posted. The Office of the Registrar will send the diplomas through certified mail requiring the graduate’s signature upon delivery. Graduates can arrange to pick up their diplomas at a Dine’ College campus/site/center.  For more information, contact the Registrar’s Office at registrar@dinecollege.edu.

Is there any room accommodations for students at DC for graduates?

The Residence Life Department is offering dorm rooms for graduates needing lodging.
  • Graduates may reserve one room at $10.00 per night.
  • Additional rooms for guests or family members will be charged at the standard guest rate (single or double occupancy).
  • Graduates are encouraged to bring their own twin-size bedding. Limited bedding may be provided if needed.

Will there be photos taken at the ceremony?

The Marketing Department will be onsite taking photos of Graduates and ceremony. Please download and sign the photo release form for our Marketing team. If you have questions regarding the photo release form, please contact Jazzmine Martinez at jdmartinez@dinecollege.edu or 928-724-6694

Is there a limit on the amount of guests I can invite?

There are no limits to the number of guests a graduate can invite to the commencement ceremony.

When will I get my sash or honor card?

Sashes and honor cords are distributed during the lineup on graduation day. Each graduate will receive a sash with the campus or site they indicated on their graduation petition.
